Interaction I watched on a bus in London

a man walks down the bus stairs
talking on the phone
a woman rings the bell to stop and grabs hold
of her pram
the child coos quietly
the bus comes to a halt
and as the woman manuvers pram
the man doesn't think twice
phone from ear and hands to wheels 
he lifts the pram alight
"thank you" woman says
"you're welcome" he replies
then phone to ear again he walks away
and she does like

a simple interaction
moments at the most
yet I cannot help but think
how beautiful it was
to help someone in the moment
despite your busy day
simply because
we all need this in each and every way
sometimes our needs are many
but often they are few
if I could relieve someone's burden today
